What's your favorite duck?

I've never seen a cinnamon but they are on the bucket list. I still entertain this crazy idea of chasing down a king eider as well.

Lol....Cinnamon teal are hard to beat, but when you think about it......God did some great artwork on the pintail, shoveler, widgeon and many others. Ducks in general win the beauty contest......but a Mtn quail is up there too....

I will vote for the mallard. There is nothing like having a group come in through the timber cupped up having responded to the call and decoys. Our problem is that there aren't many around SE Virginia like their used to be. I would love to kill a pintail one day as well as several others.

Cinnamon teal are so cool! Sadly we don't get many of them in Arkansas. Extremely rare here.

I think they all taste the same to Me. I likes the looks on a Drake Pintail the best. But I really like the way Mallards come into the Decoys.

I'm an odd ball but I love me a drake gaddy. I find them beautiful and the 5th best tasting animal I've had (cow, antelope, wild turkey, and pheasant beat it by a hair).

I know a guy who likes spoonies. The hospital said that wasn't a legitimate mental illness.

Northern red-legged greenheads and bull sprig in their full tuxedo are my favorite ducks, but a rusty swan is a sight to see up close! I'm depressed about waterfowl being closed until September/October...

Not exactly the greatest wall duck, but is there anything better than a marsh full of ringnecks? It is almost a guarantee of a fun hunt.

California and northern Nevada have a pile of pintail.

Favorite to eat Mallard, best looking Woody. Oddly enough the bland Black duck is my favorite. In a slow migration period they become old reliable in tidal marshes around here.
