Lol....Cinnamon teal are hard to beat, but when you think about it......God did some great artwork on the pintail, shoveler, widgeon and many others. Ducks in general win the beauty contest......but a Mtn quail is up there too....
 
Great thread. Man I love a good waterfowl hunt. I enjoy the fact that each bird has its own beauty...and taste...lol.

I will vote for the mallard. There is nothing like having a group come in through the timber cupped up having responded to the call and decoys. Our problem is that there aren't many around SE Virginia like their used to be. I would love to kill a pintail one day as well as several others.

California and northern Nevada have a pile of pintail.
