A buddy of mine started one of these on a fishing forum a couple years ago, good stuff!

It's real easy.

Any time you feel like it, post what you're having for dinner that night. Doesn't even have to be anything fancy, if it's frozen pizza, post it up. Include any notable details, photos, heck throw in the recipe if you want. Comments on fellow hunttalker's menus are encouraged ;)

To start it off...Small dinner party tonight the wife and I and another couple.

For apps some of my famous smoked alaskan salmon dip. The last of the fish we brought home to MT from our trip last fall :(

Main course, shredded wapiti tacos...

What are you guys having?

Filet Minion with a Potatoe all the way. Fresh Bake bread smeared with real butter. Fresh picked Purple hull peas with Banana Pudding for Dessert. Going to a Crawfish Boil tomorrow.........John

Wife hosted a dinner party at the house last night, so will be hitting the leftovers.

Smoked tri-tip roast injected with a red wine and garlic juice mixture, will put it on Hoagy rolls tonight..
Home made asian slaw.
Baked asapragus
Icy cold miller Lite to wash it down.

Nothing too exciting: Hot dogs and pork n beans.

Tortilla wraps and some brocolli and cauliflower on the side. Seven pounds to go so I can stay in my 32" waist jeans and out of the 34". For me that is a bunch.

Tonight is a bag of moose jerky, Alaskan Amber, a couple Red Bull's and hopefully some fresh still flopping sockey for breakfast. :)

Tonight's lame, tomorrows a a cold sandwich on the side of the hill, but I've got a sirloin roast off my bear sitting in the fridge that's waiting for Sunday...

Tonight Reuben casserole.

Saturady night.... I auction off and dinner for charities and 10 people paid $1,000.00 for the following, tomorrow night at my place. (remember this is charity).

APPETIZERS: Fresh fruit (Cantaloupe, honeydew, blackberries, strawberries), Southern comfort pheasant, Grilled Cajun jumbo Shrimp, stuffed Mushrooms, Snow goose.

DINNER: Rib eye steaks on the grill, Wild turkey breast marinated with Mesquite & wrapped in bacon, Honey glazed carrots, Wild rice, Fresh asparagus and shrimp smothered with cheese.

DESSERT: New York style cheese cake with strawberries and strawberry glaze or fresh baked apple pie (with a real lard crust) & ice cream.

It's fun to cook this meal and it always goes to a good cause.

good luck to all
the dog

Cajun friend Walleyes (fresh) and Bush's baked beans. Very simple and equally tasty.

Tonight will be bass and bluegill fillets from this morning's catch, onion rings, potato salad, cole slaw and a strawberry pie!

Makato's, Chop-Chop, fiip the little shrimpy into the lovely Ladies mouth, sit around the Japanese flat grill . Family is passing thru town, on the way to my niece's Graduation. 1st time Miss Robbie meets the dysfunctional, functional family group before my son's gradution next week, when she get's a dose of my EX ta boot !

Having some new potatoes in a butter/garlic sauce and a T-bone fried in a pan (outta town, no grill) can of cut green beans(reduce water and melt 2 or 3 squares of processed cheese on it) Wash it down probably with a Coke Zero or powerade.

Took the wife out to dinner at Sante Fe Reds a local Tex Mex restaurant. Then on the way home Crittergitter calls me to go after some bears at 8:30 pm. Well no bears and I don't think I could of made up the hillside anyway with 5 enchiladas rolling around in my gut:eek:
