Brownell's Spring Reloading Sale

What won't you hunt?

Black bears, coastal brown bears, elephants, giraffes, baboons, pronghorn.

Most species of birds.
I promised someone I’d try turkey hunting. We’ll see

Alaska or Africa any species. No judgement on people that do I just don’t care to.

US- Grizzly.....that, to me, seems like pure "trophy" and that is not for me. You do you though.

Africa- The hunting would be ok, but I have no interest in going to the PLACE. This is a personal thing. I had several men in a couple my units (SOF) that had some really jacked up stuff happen to them (disease, parasite and vector) in Africa. A good friend lost 80% of his lung function due to ......breathing. Nothing there really speaks to me enough to overcome that.

Europe- chamois....total meh to me

Prairie dogs. I shot a few a long time ago, but one can't eat the plague infested things without risk of catching Yersinia. so I can't see that happening anymore.

On the other hand, bison, moose, and pronghorn are delicious, so is zebra, and people say they wouldn't hunt those, so I guess tablefare possibility and quality aren't the primary consideration for everyone.

I won’t hunt anything that I won’t eat.
I shot a coyote a few years ago, as I was sitting on a field edge, and after he saw me he continued on towards me.
But, after that I felt terrible that I just wasted an animal.
Not into the killing just to shoot something.

I think I fall under the “if money wasn’t an object I’d give it a shot” but most of the African antelope don’t do anything for me. I’d hop on a plane tomorrow for a wild Cape buffalo though…. Here, I’m not a waterfowl guy, never had a great experience and I’m not giving up deer for ducks.

Critters I wont eat becuse they taste like crap( except predators ( we do eat lions)) . Don't care how you cook em, IMO they taste horrible.

Ducks and Geese. I will hunt them with you if your committed to eat them, I refuse
