I think you have a typo. A 305 series tire is about 12" wide.A 305/70R18 would get you to around 9.8 wide depending on the rim size.

I know opinions are like assholes, but I've driven a heck of a lot of miles on very snow and icy roads on KO2 tires, and am in disbelief anyone would find them inferior to the Cooper AT3s you've been using and I've used both.
I will second this post! They were the best tire I have relied on in the snow and went where others would not drive with the BFG's. They have been tough and reasonably quiet on the pavement.Randy, ST Maxx. Get some. mtmuley
I’ve heard very good things about these as well.Falken Wildpeak At3
We've been running them on a variety of pickups and have done quite well with them.
There’s some sort of misprint. The first number is the width in mm, the second is the sidewall height as a percentage of width. Here is what I was referring to. I see other sites have it listed differently. That’s why he needs to talk to his tire guy.

I was either going with those or the Goodyear Duratracs I ended up getting. A buddy has the Falkens on a 2wd dually here in CO, no snow issues yet.Falken Wildpeak At3

I pretty much drive for a living have been through the ringer on tires over the last 10 years and on a ton they're fantastic so far in 30 or 40k more miles I'll know more. Half ton rigs ir anything else I'd buy em again in a heartbeatI was either going with those or the Goodyear Duratracs I ended up getting. I'm rooting for the '98 Cheyenne he referenced in the other thread. New trucks might be more comfortable, but you can't beat the character of an old truck.
In 2013 when it was 15 years old. When the hell did a 98 Chvey become an old truck.
Best post on Hunt Talk EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is awesome. Another “use the code randy” and we all get 20% off new Fords....I am stoked
