What is the nastiest place where you have found elk

I passed a nice bull in Nevada that was killable with a cross canyon shot, but it was in such steep stuff we weren't sure if we could get to it if it fell, much less get it out. I was with a buddy who I helped fill his central Idaho mountain goat tag two months prior and had no problems in that country.

A couple guys I spoke to prior to the NV hunt about the tag spoke of "bulls in mountain goat country" but I didn't believe them.

Unit 51 in WY. The elk were at the bottom of a very steep & rocky river gorge. It was hell & dangerous getting in & out of there, especially packing a bull on our backs!
