Thank you, the man put on a good show and had a very nice voice. Saw him several timesOne for @Europe.
Did she come home ? Seriously, good for her and thank youMrs. Duds is sitting in. From Hawaii:
She is in this video from Honolulu International Center, somewhere in the stands, @Europe.
Dave, I met Shannon and Gene once years ago at a party. Very nice people. She was so damn attractive ! He seemed shy actually as she did most of the talking, just the reverse from their t.v. show. Anyway, enjoyed meeting themOpened for KISS.
If you were able to see him in person in L.V. circa 1970, he was electrifying. Charisma, looks, showmanship and voice. He packed them into the International
Yes sir they sure did. They put on a fun show..........
I also preferred Meisner and Felder...same with the Allmans...as great as Warren Haynes is, the hole left by Duane could not be filled.Thank you, the man put on a good show and had a very nice voice. Saw him several times

If you have time watch him sing "Bridge over Troubled Water" during that time in his life to appreciate his singing range. Although I might have already told you this as I tell everybody who will listen (-: Also--if you can find him singing "Love Me Tender" in Las Vegas, you will see why all the women liked him--and he liked them (-: ( the Las Vegas show )
Also, thank you for the Eagles tune, I always enjoyed their concerts and have seen several. My personal preference was when Randy and Don was with them. Timmy can sing and play but he has the personality of a slug IMHO and Don could make that guitar sing.
As to music events, fairs, bars, clubs, theaters, casinos, stadiums, and beaches--like others on this thread, I am unable to remember them all
Certainly the three most memorable "time slots" in my life were
1.Whiskey, Troubadour, and the Bear. It was, to me, an amazing time in my life. Dylan, Fitzgerald, Mitchell, Cole, Young, Diamond, Browne, Bennett, Horne, Davis, Fry, Henley, Joplin, Parsons, Harris and Linda and several others individuals and groups
Linda and Emmy Lou were much more approachable, kind and friendly than some of the other females at that time. Joplin and Gramm were always "high"
Some of my favorite memories is, on the the beach across the street from the Bear listening to the aforementioned sing. My husband had a crush on Emmy Lou and that was o.k., as I had one on Elvis (-:
2. The second location was Las Vegas as we entertained clients there and saw, Frank, Dean, Sammy, Elvis, Tom, and several others, several times.
3. And, last but certainly not least was Austin Tx in the 70's. This was my husbands favorite and we flew to Austin, often. He wanted to move there, but by then we were pretty well dug in-home, business, children --in California, but believe me Austin in the 70's put places like Gilly's, who came along later ,in the minor leagues .
When someone asks me what is the one concert that stands out in my mind, I always tell them the The Global Carnival in Zimbabwe in 1988. To this day I remember all 75000 of us singing the Banana Boat Song with Harry Belafonte. Absolutely wonderful and for a good cause I wish everyone who posted on the "pronoun" thread had been there
All of you gentlemen have attended some wonderful concerts and my only regret is not having been there with you. I would have passed on the drugs, but we could have certainly had a beer or two together while listening to your concert of choice
KEN, please accept my apologizes, I rambled on and forgot to thank you for posting that Linda tune. THANK YOU ! It was one of her best I thought, right after Desperado how in the world does it get any better than Linda singing"with" the Eagles (-: (-:
