Tunes you have heard live. (Friday tunes)

sir... there are no activities in hotchkiss beside Zach's and hunting
Your point being? BTW, Joe Cocker prepared for his final tour with a live show in Hotchkiss @ the fairgrounds. You'll recall he lived near Crawford then, @ Mad Dog Ranch. Tomorrow I'll introduce you to the local band that played his housewarming when Cocker moved to Mad Dog Ranch. They graduated from the 1st Telluride music festival to host their own festival, which has now morphed into the Olathe Sweet Corn Festival. Lot of hints there.

I saw Chuck Berry open for the Grateful Dead at Portland Meadows in 95 I think

The one song that sticks in my memory from that show , I remember the Dead singing “The last Time” by the stones I think , on the second day towards the end of the show and a month later Jerry was gone.

Under a hot sun, all day in Tampa, Florida. We waited for Led Zeppelin. The show began and so did the afternoon thunderstorms. They paused 3 times to cover equipment from the Florida downpour. People close to the stage threw bottles and other debris onto the stage. We were getting dumped on from the heavens. Their 3rd set , "Nobody's Fault But Mine" after which we sat in the rain for 45 Minutes, when it was said, the band had gone.
