Coworker is a hockey nut. Boss let's us hook up a projector for the tourney every year .

We used to have our parents call us outta school when we were in HS. Usually would get some either willing or unknowing parent to get us a few hotel rooms and we’d go and party for a few days in the hotel and make a couple sessions of games. That was livin’ back in the day.

I’ve been drinking beers (in moderation of course, I'm not a kid anymore) and watching hockey since 11 this morning. Lotta good games. High school, college, and pros. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow is probably the best wknd of hockey all year. Hockey crack cocaine.

I know this doesn’t resonate with a ton of folks, but sheesh the level of competition in this tourney is crazy good. Something you don’t appreciate when you grow up with it in your face.

Happy to see East Grand Forks win the 1A tourney. They beat #1 ranked Warroad in the Section 8 finals, so they deserved to win the big one.

Good for Moorhead after many times of being runner-up in 1AA. Another Section 8 school that has some players who will be playing for "The Cup" in ten years.

I normally don’t root for the Moorhead Potatoes, as they are a rival of ours, but I was pulling for them.

Now if my Alexandria team can win the basketball championship, that would be awesome!
