I just watched the 4 corners episode. Chaco Canyon massive population, vanished. Then mentioned aliens as a theory. I thought eight episodes in it was already gone to shit! No idea. The name was named as lumber mill partner.
He was back in Conn. by 1840. Bought 800 acres and started another lumber business.
Big gap in family history until 1860 and the war. A son was in Conn. Volunteers.
