Purely opinion, so say what you will. But from a Montana perspective, Newberg was one of the collective " us" before there was an "us", and before social media became a thing. Rinella, good guy and all, (though I think slightly conceited), rolled on to the scene later.I’m sure that Rinella was dropping bulls and loved it before he got famous as well. That’s why I just don’t get the hypocrisy. I’m not against either guy, I support both. It’s just funny that people hate on Rinella on a Newberg site.
I find it weirder people post on HT and have no knowledge of how/why its around.I’m sure that Rinella was dropping bulls and loved it before he got famous as well. Like i said Pablo Escobar.
I said I support both what Rinella and Newberg do.I find it weirder people post on HT and have no knowledge of how/why its around.
If those dead bulls and videos get information like jed hinkles wet dream of a bill to the light - its well worth it.
Your math is off by a zero.Like i said Pablo Escobar.
Lets look at FT. Probably high up on the list of somewhat succeasful channels/influencers - right?
Youtube pays 10-30 bucks per 1k views. Quick glance says their MIGHT be 10M views. Thats 1-3 M dollars. For many years. For many applications. For many miles. For an office. For many years. For a lot of the gear, food, ice. Dont forget ads!
Dont forget if you have employees - you pay their benefits/taxes. Typical cost is at least 2x wages.
I get meateaters made it big. Thats unique.
FIxedYour math is off by a zero.

Good to know even the quick googling i had done overshot it.As someone who has a YouTube Channel and knows all the analytics. The Meat Eater channel at most makes 500k a year. You don't make much. His cpm is maybe $3-$10. Your math is WAAAY off

No shit? Ive been looking for a reason to rage quit my professional job. Ever think they might be well off and want to take a plunge doing something they love/want to do and can simply afford to?You guys are very ignorant in how much sponsors are paying these guys. Case in point, there was an elk hunting group that all quit there professional full time jobs to make videos of them killing elk.
The tougher draw odds, spot burning, crowded trailheads, etc. Only for an ego boost?
Well, I know of 3 grown men with families that quit there full time jobs, one being a timber cutter, to make YouTube videos killing elk I have heard numbers and I also see all of the pimping of gear by people that are very apparently getting paid to pimp gear.No shit? Did you see what they get paid? Or... are you assuming?
