Figured I'd start a thread on this topic. This is a sorely needed initiative for conservation.

There was a similar program about 10 years ago that was next to impossible to to be enrolled. The issue in my opinion was the system used to rank need also increased incentive pay which meant more money went to higher priority land. That doesn't sound like an issue until smaller high incentive acres used up funds that were already limited. It is a great concept but funding will need to be maintained to make sure more acres are enrolled.
