Testosterone Replacement

Yea everyone seems to enamored with the morning wood here and skipped over the fact borny said he has a brain tumor! Praying that it is manageable like elkmag said.
They thought I had that too. MRI proved otherwise. That type of tumor is typically managed with medicine and not a significant concern. The procedure to remove it is minor (as far as brain tumors go) but not worth it unless absolutely necessary.

Get your PSA checked.

Never had a T problem, that I know.
But @ 67 Everyone said I had sciatica issue. Way more than just nerve pain. Went and got a MRI @ ER.
PSA was 419.16, stage 4 Prostate cancer metastasized on my bones. Tumor on left hip.
Lucked out that it bypassed my prostate and organs.

My PSA is now .04.
Prostate Cancer thrives on Testosterone......You do you.

Yep, they check mine annually now that I'm on it.

@Borny1 you levels were definitely in the tank - but over training is pretty common with CrossFit. I wonder what your levels would have done with a 6 week break from CrossFit?

Good question. I've always read working out elevates T. My levels on the juice now are 350 -500. I've only belonged to the cult for three years. A year or so before that my legs were still always tired. The only reason I ever found all this stuff out was due to a change in insurance. I asked for a blood test that checked everything. That's where they found the low T, which led to finding the tumor. I had zero fatigue today on a walk with my buddies.

Me too, and that said, if I had a brain tumor, I'd want perpetual wood and a bus ticket to Vegas with my life savings in my wallet.

I've been on testosterone for 4 years now. My levels were right around 275 and now are balanced between 600-800. It was life changing for me. Brought back all of my energy, sex drive, muscle mass, and quality of life. The only negative effects I got from it were a little acne from time to time, and my balls shrank by like 50%. But, after 2 kids, who really needs those things bangin around anyway.

That’s true to a point. It definitely will when you go from being sedentary to working out, but working out is also a stress on the body. Too much stress = high cortisol which does the opposite testosterone.

I’m always surprised how good I feel when I dial back my workouts for a couple months. It’s something that really needs to be cycled in a couple times throughout the year.
