I just can't agree with that. You're saying there is no limit to the number of cattle, horses, sheep, deer, elk, antelope, bison, sage grouse, people, ATV's, etc??? I must have misunderstood your statement.

The Grand Canyon Park is trying to get all the buffalo killed off that have moved up to the Kaibab Plateau from House Rock Buffalo Ranch area. Their main reasoning, buffalo are not native, indigenous animals to the area. Well, if we were to apply that same line of thought then the wild horses & burro's all over this country could be wiped out. They weren't here till the spanish showed up in the early 1500's. Just thought I would share that tidbit - depending on the agenda of someone in power BS can be spread to justify it. Hmmm, anybody know anyone on this board that uses that same logic?

I fail to see how removing excess animals has to be expensive. Its not that costly to tell people to dump wild horses on sight.

Wish that were possible, but it is illegal. The laws pertaining to WH&B 'management' are very strict and very specific. I'm not a fan of the program.

PS- I did find it interesting that those who proposed the bill don't have any wild roaming horses in their state.
