Must’ve caught a salmon or two being that close to some good fishing. Plenty of good elk hunting within a mile of there as well.

Yep, fished that river from the mouth all the way to Agness over the years and most of the tribs...Lobster Cr., Quosatna Cr., and up the Illinois. Great rosie and blacktail hunting as well. Just got tired of the rain and fog... moved operations inland to the Bend area. Good crabbing right down from that bridge and sturgeon fishing not far up the river from it also.

Usually there is so much snow on the banks of this river in the second week of December that it is very difficult walking with out snowshoes. Not this year. Thin patches of snow is it. I even messed around with the shutter speed on the camera for some fun.
