Had yesterday off work and a tag in my pocket. My intent was to spend more time pronghorn hunting, but with work and the moose tag it sort of went to the back burner.

Spent most of the day looking and what I noticed in the unit I had was a lack of mass. Lots of OK bucks but nothing with the mass it takes to find a high scoring buck. Figured I would just find one that was 4+ years old and looked good.

Right toward dark I decided to shoot this one on an HMA I had never hunted before. Used my "new" old 6mm that I reworked a few years back.

Beautiful pronghorn Buzz. I know a lot of residents can take them or leave them but I find they are amazing animals and extremely fun to hunt.
Great table fare also!
I got mine just before the rifle opener here with my crossbow. Had a blast.

Congrats on a fine buck!

That's a good looking buck, Buzz. Love the well-defined prongs. Congrats.

Beautiful buck antelope!!! We need to see a picture of that 6mm Remington also please!! 6mm Remington is an antelope slaying giant!
