I love going out to the garden for fresh ingredients this time of year. The onion, green pepper and tomato in my omelet came out of the garden this morning, peach jelly came from our trees this year.

Nothing crazy about that. Caprese salad and BLT's are featured prominently at our house this time of year. If it weren't for the fresh fruit and veggies in Summer, I don't know if I could stand it, especially this one. Hottest to date and driest July in the records. To say this Summer has blown would be an understatement.
