Plate ‘em up

Pronghorn stew from my CO buck last September. Wife asked me why I made stew on a hundred degree day. I had no answer

I made a venison (elk) stew the other day/ Wife didn't say anything (because I'm away from home working) but I sure questioned myself. But I had been hankering a stew like I made back in the 70s. So I did, despite the heat and humidity

elk meat, potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic cloves, seasoned up, some worchestershire sauce, couple cups beef broth

oh yeah, half a handful of barley

cooked in pressure cooker

kind of hot weather for stew, but it was worth it

Weird, I was thinking about making venison stew last night.
