Bowhunter? I'm leaving in 8 days for Colorado backcountry. Probably too late this year but possibly next year.

I do bow and rifle. No trips this year just Missouri whitetails but hoping for next year. I live in Kansas City

Man I am jealous, good luck! Post pics of your trip for those of us who haven’t left yet… I need to get some friends who are self employed and can take more time off to hunt, or take your approach and solo it..

Saw 2 deer and a pine marten today. Haven't heard a bugle in 2 days. It snowed on me around 2pm. Try again tomorrow!

I got busted this morning! In stand at 5:45. At 6:10 I heard a snort about 50 yds away....straight down wind. Followed by 4 more snorts over the next 2 minutes and then he slowly walked away. Checked my trail cams....I think this was the culprit.

Nothing today but a red fox. I also had a grouse hunter walk thru my camp with his 10 year old daughter and his black lab. I don't get many visitors. Hitting the honey hole in the dark tomorrow morning. Praying for the right winds!!

I'm one of the few people who actually graduated from scsu. Go huskies!
Heard my first bugle this morning! Went on a walk-about and found this amazing meadow with a wallow in the center. Think I'm going to hang out in that area tonight.

Lol, scsu was great when they would play the home and home series with the gophers hockey team.. spent lots of time up there but never went to school
