Where do you guys buy rifle ammo from online? I can't find my box of federal anywhere around Sioux Falls, and my fall back of Midway doesn't have it either.

Grafs and Sons, Natchez Shooters Supply, Selway Armory, Midsouth Shooters, Midway, Palmetto State Armory, Cabela's, etc. I reload most everything I use, but I've got stuff from all these guys.

I usually get it at Sportsmans Warehouse, typically not online though. Generally well priced and if you spend more than 50 bucks shipping is free. I noticed a lot of online retailers seem to be out of Federal ammo recently.

If you still can’t find what you need, you could try an ammo search engine like ammoseek or wikiarms.

I wonder what the deal is, only found them in on site and I'm not certain they are the right ones cause the box image doesn't match. Maybe they stopped production?

Like I said in my original post, midway doesn't have it either.... That's my normal back up after a physical store.

This is what led me to handloading. Now I'm like, 'hey, I can't find a pound of Varget anywhere....'

I won't get into the long story, but I can't hand load for this gun. Tried, but the cases end up getting stuck in the chamber

Ammo Supply Warehouse is a good one for plinking/training rounds for pistols and carbines. But never looked for more than that stuff as I reload everything else.

I believe Federal has done some re-branding/marketing/change the box to increase sales stuff lately. I have seen that on a few of the loads they produce.

I use ammoseek. It seems to be pretty reliable. However, I tend to come back to the usual suspects. The best deals are at first glance great, but then shipping and/or fees are $$$. Cabelas usually has free shipping too.
