Didn't he shoot a ridiculous bull that was palmated between the 5th and 6th about 2004-ish? It's one of the most impressive elk I've ever seen.

I feel disgust and shame reading this thread. A bunch of hard core hunters talking about drinking old grape juice. Real men drink tequila or gasoline. Wine is for weenies. Shame on all of you.

How can you forget the pictures of the Cheese climbing out of his hole in the ground like Saddam?

And, lets not forget the pictures of the Cheese catching and "releasing" his Bull Trout after hooking them on worms and a #6 Eagle Claw hook, dragging them up on the rocks, and then holding them for pictures by the gills.
And his ideas on jerky preparation where he sunk 4 eye-bolts into his drywall ceiling to suspend a jerky drying rack over his kitchen counters.
Probably my favorite thread ever. Most pics are gone, but still good. Taste like roast beef....about pissed myself.

Tom was a little different than us, being from Texas and all (sorry nhy), but he's a good guy. I wish Ithaca was still posting.
The irony was that I am sure Ithaca left because of his inability to suffer fools, which, upon his leaving, likely was the impetus for MuleDeer4Me and TenBeers to leave.
People who think "public land issues" just became popular never read the threads of the Fat-Assed ATV crowd like MD4me and TenBeers with their support of the "Blue Ribbon Coalition" and the need for unregulated ATV riding.
We also had the sawmill owner/ logger guy from Lewiston that would weigh in on the need to cut every tree on public lands.
Also, always enjoyed MarvB from Redding, Calif and his insight.

Can't believe all the survival section was completed removed. That was so much fun. I remember starting a poll on who should be "moderator" of the forum. I won, so Oscar booted the cheese and made me king. I proceeded to edit nearly everybody's post who posted, especially the Cheese's posts. So funny
