I have shot 115 grain Nosler Partitions out of my Remington 700 BDL 25-06 (Bonnie) for years. Between myself, my wife and daughter this combination has taken countless predators and big game animals. I also shoot 55 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips out of my Remington R15 (Suzy). I have taught my wife and daughter to take their time and take high front shoulder shots when they can. From time to time there is the occasional heart/lung shot. Last year I had a doe antelope and a doe deer tag that I drew in the second big game draw. I used the R15 to fill both tags. The picture of the recovered bullet is of a 55 grain NBT that I recovered from my deer. 190 yards high front shoulder. We shoot Noslers!!

I first ventured into reloading while in college when I was picked for a TRNP elk "hunt", last I'll be doing one of those.
Anyways since we were hunting on a National Park we were required to use non lead ammunition. At the time there wasn't a lot to choose from. I eventually narrowed it down to Barnes or Nosler. The 180 grain E-tip shot beautifully out of my 30-06. The first cow I shot on the hunt was 10 years old at 297 yards, with a 2 yard recovery. Temperatures were a balmy -5 degrees.


I have only started taking decent pictures the last few years and it is really disappointing how many animals I don't have pictures of until they're in the garage. Oh well, can't change the past.

Here is the recovered E-tip, found between rib cage and hide on opposite side.

7 1/2 year old cow bison taken on National Elk Refuge with Winchester model 70 300wsm 180 gr Accubond. About a 20 yard shot and less than 100 yard recovery. The exit wound is visible.

A few whitetails with 7 RM and 160 partitions:

Montana, great day shot the 22nd 4 point or better buck I'd seen that day by 1 PM. Saw 3 lions about 30 minutes before I shot this one:



Record setting heat in November, IIRC it was nearly 70 degrees. This one was chasing a doe mid day, 50 yards:



Another MT whitetail with 7 RM and 160 partition, 75 yards.



Shot these bucks in Wyoming on my way to Montana, shot one, another jumped out of the brush, and shot him too. 210 yards.

Got this one on my way to Montana as well, piece of State land that I checked on my way through. First place I glassed, found this one, the shot was about 275 yards.

The most experience I've had in the shortest amount of time testing Nosler bullets was in Kwazulu Natal, SA in early 2014. These were all one shot kills ranging from the nyala at 50 yards to the black wildebeest at 325 yards, using 180 grain AccuBonds and my 300RUM.
