My new granddaughter!

My grandmom's name was Rose. She'll be gnawing on elk jerkey to get her teeth in. My kids did it with deer jerkey. Congrats!!
My mother's name is Rosa. Never asked if that was why she took Rose or not. Aurora came from last year when we had the aurora here last May. She had some pictures and was crying how beautiful they were. She shared them with her mom while she was here overnight and Lori passed away that night. Aurora came from her last conversation with her mother.

Congratulations Dave. Before you know it Aurora Rose will want to join you on a trip to Alaska to see the Aurora for her self.

Congratulations Dave. Similar situation here, only mine is my first great granddaughter, born on Jan 30th. My late wife was named Rose, named after her grandmother, and the kids named our new generation Gemma Rose. I'll call her Roisin (pronounced Rosheen in the Irish) which translates to "Little Rose". I know my Rosie would be pleased.

No picture, kids don't want pictures on the internet. Suffice it to say that she is a cutie.

Went fishing with my 6 & 8 year old granddaughters Sat on Lake Michigan trolling for cohos. To hear them screaming in joy reeling in fish and yes netting them is so incredible hear, see and just absorb every second of them. We had one son and the two granddaughters are the gift from heaven.
