This is one of the more fascinating podcasts I've ever done with a research scientist. Kevin is a passionate about hunting as he is about mule deer and pronghorn research, so he's the kind of guest who can take a lot of complex information and make it applicable to hunting.

Fantastic, Kevin and his team have changed the game in migration/habitat research and it is always enjoyable to hear him speak about mule deer. Looking forward to listening

Excellent conversation. Highly recommended to anyone interested in mule deer (or pronghorns) and scientific research.

@Big Fin what was the name of the book/author you referenced about road crossings? Would be interested in reading that.

Idk just being honest mule deer in my neck of the woods in montana. Had a very predictable pattern 90s early 2000s. As it is now they are thriving on private. Because private manages and fwp sells tags. Idk a unit that is heavily impacted by migration in montana. But all units are effected by hunting pressure.
