Montana and Idaho's plan are acceptable and have stood up in court Wyomings has not,,,,,simple as that. It really is not hard to understand.

Precisely why things need to be changed. Look at the administration in charge of the USFWS....Simple as that. And again your post does absolutely nothing to address the encroaching populations in neighboring states and court rulings regarding that. Given Molloys threatend populations in other states could again bring an end to all wolf managment.

Any state can come up with an acceptable plan, it really is not that tough. Anyone that can read can understand the ESA can see Wyoming is not living up to the original agreement. Come up with a approved wolf management plan and things are good, play cowboy and things don't,,,won't go your way.

Brudno, let this go. Most of the guys on this site have been involved with the wolf issue since the beginning, we are not a bunch of guys sliding in at the 12 hour. Wyoming is the problem and anyone with a basic understanding of the wolves and the ESA know this. Keep it up and you will only look silly.

I was throwing it out there to get this kind of response, not just for my enjoyment but to see where everyone was coming from and hear opposing arguments both ways. I think I've gotten more than I bargained for.

Are you a poacher?

Absolutely not, I don't agree with the idea I was clarifying the acronym for someone who posted a few posts before mine. It would be hard to keep up with this thread not knowing what SSS was.

Wyoming is in the right. We need to win that fight.
Won't happen. Malloy's ruling pretty well laid out the ground work to have them delisted throughout the three state area. Now it's up the those in the agreements to follow his hints. Two did, one didn't. IMO, USFWS delisting them in two states was a way to put more pressure on WY to come up with an acceptable plan so that they COULD be delisted.

UT is working on a wolf plan, if it's not already completed. I also think states outside of the originial agreement have a bit more latitude than those in it.
