Drew my buck tag! Stoked for this hunt, I saw a few unique antelope in my unit this summer scouting, stoked to see if any will be around in October!

Buck tag with 6 points and unsuccessful on doe tag with 1 point.

I've hunted the same antelope area since 1979. Gimme tag every year with good bucks. 10 to 12 years ago draw odds started dropping went to 27 % as of last year. Bet it's less this year. I could go landowner but I like bringing everyone. Frustrating. mtmuley

The unit I prefer to hunt had year over year increase in first choice applicants nearly equivalent to the amount of tags issued. Youch.

Antelope “B” tag. Boy, talk about a red headed unlucky middle child this year. Oh well, good ‘nuff! Drew something. Got some deer “B” tags and my “A” tags. Will put some meat in the freezer. I’m happy. Hope all drew what you wish. Good luck all. MTG

Looking at the stats for the unit I applied for because of proximity and ease of doing a weekend hunt it appears that my application strategy needs to change…

Nada. I went for a tough to draw unit and with 5 pts going in, swung & missed! I’m curious as to the stats of influx of people vs possible tag reductions.
