Montana Fentanyl and Meth. Mexican Drug Cartel Focus.

Not my experience
Well what was your experience ? Because it was a major failure in all aspects . -

After 10 years of the D.A.R.E. program, the American Psychological Association ran a study of 1002 subjects who received D.A.R.E. education in their 6th grade. This study assessed the efficacy of the program by tracking the subsequent drug use of the subjects when they hit their 20’s. The results of the study found that the program had no meaningful impact on rates of drug use, attitudes toward drugs, or self-esteem. The National Institute of Justice’s research found that the program has some effect, but on a modest scale. Another study carried out by the University of Illinois concluded that the D.A.R.E.program was counter-productive with students who participated in the program more likely to use drugs.

Okay I know I posted the tape thing and I really want to watch how I assert my opinion here, but I’ll just say that I completely agree with the college studies. I took DARE ED in 5th and 6th grade, it didn’t prevent myself or any of my peers from at turning at that crossroads later in life, even if just for a short time. They could have picked a better mascot than a lion. Said marijuana is as dangerous as cocaine…. Yeah they’re lion…. I mean Lyin… even a 5th grader knows that is horse shit. If you want to keep your kids off drugs and alcohol, be honest with them. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, don’t feed em full of that nonsense propaganda you always heard, because it might come back to bite your ass.

What’s any of this gotta due with the cartel and fent tho? I got lost in the 9 pages apparently.

Well , the point was made to legalize all drugs to stop the money flowing to the cartels and it went from there , I think ?

Shoot my bad I missed that part.

Legalize, definitely not. Decriminalize? Maybe? There’s certainly a frustration that comes with laws being made solely for your own safety that are then used as business for the courts. Like getting pulled over or fined for not wearing your own seatbelt 😂😂😂

How can anyone disagree with Darwinism or selective characterization? Let em weed themselves out and the next generation will be scholars.

I don’t think most people care if someone’s a crackhead, it’s what that crackhead does that could effect them.
My buddy got hurt in the hills yesterday and at least 4-5 vehicles passed as I’m trying to limp a man way way bigger than me back to his truck. Nobody gave a shit. But I reckon if his truck was blocking the road I’d of had some caring personel to help, don’t you? What if it was serious? And let me say something else, EVEN IF A PERSON IS OBVIOUSLY UNDER THE INFLUENCE, don’t write them off to be a bad person. Don’t make assumptions, pass judgment, cast stones. Everyone needs help sometimes.

As one who spent the entire 90’s in K-12, I can speak from experience on DARE. We were taught the street names, means of use. All drugs were equally bad. I asked my folks about drugs, no. Then directly about marijuana and they responded inconsistently. All other drugs were no.
IV drugs were tied to diseases in DARE, health class and portrayed negatively in the media so that was the most compelling reason not to go there. We also had a kid in school whose uncle partied with heroin and he contracted HIV so that really brought the message full circle.

I first smoked marijuana during a summer job with a couple of brothers from East Cleveland. Suburban white kid introduced to the seedy underground world of illicit drug use by a couple inner city black adults. I know it sounds something like a Willie Horton ad, but these dudes were cool. I was scared of where this drug use may lead you know, gateway and that was insulting to them. They didn’t use other drugs not because of DARE, but because of life experience. They had their own Schedule system for marijuana just like my folks.

Nowadays I don’t smoke marijuana because it used to be bad and is still bad to do according to some employers. Yet I have Nalaxone available in my car, office. Because that’s the reality, the true DARE. Some people found the gateway to drugs that destroyed their lives through marijuana, previously known as illegal. And it never should have been like that.

I have always said, the only reason marijuana is a gateway drug is because parents tell their children it’s just as dangerous as the others. Then when those kids try marijuana and realize this isn’t like reefer madness at all, they think maybe the others aren’t really as bad as they’re portrayed. But they are. Be honest with your kids folks.

So I think you miss the point
This wasn't about .DARE, that was an example. My experience is i served on the sharp of the stick dealing with the drug problem for close to 40 years.

We've lost a generation of folks to the problem. It's not the problem of the 70 and 80s. In hindsight our policies were ineffective. Good day.

So your experience probably wasn't unusual
Certain age groups reacted differently. It has everything to do with the fentyl and cartel. The unfortunate reality is the generational damage that has occurred prevents effective parenting having an impact. Keeping talking to your kids!

Sorry, Darwinism won’t work with social safety nets.

Another exhibit on how the war on drugs has failed. We have been doing the same thing, in the same way, for 53 years. Inexplicitly, we haven't had any different results.
Do you think the the cabal really wants to stop the flow of drugs???? I dont!
