I think it’s great . But there should just be mandatory reporting after the season and that would solve the phone tag part of it .

Montana residents somehow feel this is a privacy issue.

Yeh I got deer a long time ago - I never hunted deer . When I told them that they seemed confused …. I said well it’s pretty simple . I never hunted deer .. and then never asked about elk . Until my call tonight

I feel at this point, my opinion, they are just going through the motions. A true tragedy, again, my opinion.

I got the call today as well for elk. No elk were harmed but a lot of days were spent in the field.

I had the pleasure of arguing what district I shot my elk in with the person who called me. No idea what day she marked me down for getting it; I wasn't taking the bait on that argument.

I said the “unit on the west side of x river south of Y town”

They couldn’t find it on their map and I was busy.
Maybe I should have that memorized but I’ve thought about a lot of stuff since Sept 9th

Yes. I put in for 270 with no points. I already put in for time off work to hunt it….

I believe the last couple years results came out on a Monday..so hopefully my son and I find out if we drew an archery elk permit in a LE unit this coming Monday!

I get more pissed when they call at dinner time and interrupt “Dirty Jobs”, “Spirit”, or “Paw Patrol”.
