Yeti GOBOX Collection

Lets see your fishing boat!

I inherited my uncles 1991 14' Sea Nymph. I added a front deck and platform for a bow mount trolling motor. It suites my fishing style perfectly: shallow water cane poling for spring crappie then trolling for crappie or pike throughout the summer. Works well on all of the inland lakes here in Michigan.20240602_201201.jpg

We like to troll. Hard to beat this style boat for trolling and so glad I found this boat. Hard to believe it's only 16.5ft. Can't imagine how big @Sytes boat feels.

Dang that's one hell of a crappie. Maybe I need to forget hunting and go west for the fish.

On the boat this weekend:

Disregard the gut... Cameras don't like 'mericans who drink Coors

20828.jpeg

This is the stylized reverse pose with fun fighting smallie. Should have pulled a stretch arm towards the camera... Coors fugs w/ pictures regardless camera or Coors drinker.

This is a proper largemouth pose. Not too far, not too close. Just Coors idealistic.

Camping - fun.

More my wife's boat than mine, she is a fishing junkie. I just load/unload it, net fish and do the filleting. No complaints. she even let's me reel one in occasionally.

2022 Yammy 190FSH.

Just wrapped up fixing two months of chips and dings from the walleye slip in Detroit.

Time to start dragging it around the state chasing chrome.

It does a lot of things really well, but doesn't excel at any one thing. Only real complaint with it, I wished it sat higher in the bow.

Hilarious.
I adjusted the idle on my outboard and she's purring like a kitty cat.
The above reminds me of a " craft" I saw on an irrigation reservoir in Eastern Montana. Some farm kids made their own pontoon boat out of some irrigation pipe. About 25 feet long, with a homemade shanty perched on top. Ladder to the roof where they had a 2 x 12 diving board over a tire for the spring factor. Wish I had taken a picture. Also wish I had asked permission to board, drink a beer, and jump off the board. They were having a gas.
So refreshing compared to the Bozeman punks driving Daddys 100k wake boat.
