here is my turkey decent sized hen with a 5 inch beard. she was tasty!
 
After two days of chasing this pair, but BIL and I finally caught up with them. Shot them about 10yds and 20seconds apart.

My biggest bird had a 10.5" beard, and nearly 1.5" hooks. One spur was black tipped pink and the other all black>

Saw a mixed flock of 75 or more yesterday morning....didn't have camera....jakes, Gobblers, hens and youngsters all in same harvested cornfield between Columia and Burkesville KY....thought about stopping and pulling the 17 shot Beretta 92F out of console....
 
Northern MO Birds

Sorry for the poor quality of the pics. These pics are from a few years back in Northern MO. My son always loved it when I called a bird into his lap!! All I can say is a Primos Power Crystal Rocks!

My youngest son Jakes big bird. 26 pds, 12" beard and 1 1/2" spurs. I called this bird in. The land owner saw the bird and said he was jealous, I told him I was also and he said; yea but I've been hunting this bird for 2 years.

Thats awesome. I am in emmett and going out for the first time this spring. I am even more excited now seeing that pic. I am still trying to figure out where the controlled hunt area ends and the general season areas are. Fish and game pdf is pretty vague.
