I love to see these return after a long winter.













First time I've ever had a bobcat around the house. I figured they'd be around when the bunny population went crazy.

They are actually snowshoe hare, I should have said. No, nobody hunts them, at least I don't.

It was pretty cool to see all the pics of the eagles. Seeing the fighting and posturing between them. There was two balds at first, then one left and the Goldens pretty much took over. The bobcat kepts coming back to the carcass for days, but when the eagles arrived, they destroyed it. Could believe what they did. Two coyotes magically drug it all off and didn't get on cam.

I love shot 7 of the landing, then 8 with the grappling between the two eagles.

Hard to tell on #4, but goldens have feathered ankles whereas bald eagles don't so the other ones are immature baldies. I read it on the net so this is factual .

I don't have any other good pics of that one's feet. I do think now the other is an immature bald.
