Just wanted to give a quick announcement so no one is surprised. Our board has decided to delay life memberships for the time being (life member #1 is still spoken for).
We really want to be able to give something back to life members (likely an embroidered vest), and at this time we have not found a life member sponsor.
We’re confident this will change as soon as we’re able to put some money on the ground and establish a reputation. So we’re not concerned about it at this juncture. But I do want to make sure folks know for full transparency.
We anticipate reassessing around the 6 month mark, depending on a few metrics. But we feel strongly that life members deserve something for their support and we want to make sure they are treated right and that they know we are extremely grateful for that life member support.
Anticipate a standard annual $35 dollar membership, a $250 annual sponsor membership, an option to auto-renew both, and an option for custom donations.
