Help choosing Caliber

Either cartridge will do for the ranges and game that you are talking about. .308 will be around for a long time, and easy to find relatively reasonably priced ammo, but I don’t see 6.5 PRC as being a flash in the pan.

I have used quite a few rifles and cartridges during my 55 year long hunting career. Only 3006 Springfields and 308 Winchesters remain in the safe.. The 3006s are the next to go, leaving only the 308s……. 308 all the way!!
