Actually not really a surprise. When my kids were young took them to SeaWorld, where the orca did the very same trick. It was a warm day, so we went back again and sat up front. My kids loved it!

I went to SeaWorld San Diego thirty plus years ago before the tide of public opinion swung against holding large charismatic marine mammals in captivity.
