I believe it. Pretty straightforward I think. How many of us used to shoot slugs out of an 870 smoothbore with just a front bead? Not that hard. You young guys should try it. You might be surprised in this day of specialty barrels and sights for everything.

Yep. Springfield 67 and a poly-choke. Could group slugs surprisingly good. I was so glad to buy an 870 and return that treachery to its owner.
