GMU 53 in colorado archery

Hello fellow hunters,

Looking to hunt gmu 53 for archery this year in colorado. If anyone has hunted this unit for archery or even rifle and has some tips about navigating the unit I would appreciate a discussion or even a DM. Good luck to you all, Im getting pumped for September!

I hunted here in 2021 I had 3 cams up with elk deer and bear coming in all summer...after day 2 of archery I only had bear on camphor the remainder of the season. every where I went I saw at least one bear.... almost shot one at 20 yards until I heard something in the tree above me and there were 2 cubs...drew back on another one but didn't have a clear shot just the head.
