FWP: Hank's out Dustin Temple in

I must’ve missed the part where a public resource was handed over to me. Apparently I’ve misplaced it, looked all over and still can’t find it. Maybe it’s over in the block management next to me.🤔
Found it for you.

Something we could all have if mtfwp would manage wildlife. I have seen Eric advocate for it. I don’t know you but I don’t think you were there.

This is what we could(should) all have, if the resource was put FIRST. It’s not an accident we average 5.5–6.5 yrs of age on the mule deer we harvest.

Until WE all demand resource first our quality of wildlife on accessible lands will continue to be degraded to third world status.

I have advocated for resource first management for 30 yrs.. Ironically to the detriment of my outfitting business. How many of you who sit in the peanut gallery taking cheap shots would do the same? Bet I know the answer. So very few of you have the testicular fortitude not to hide behind an anonymous moniker while taking chicken$hit jabs.

Might be good. Might get worse. Who knows…🤷🏻‍♂️
How can it get worse?

Temple is a worthless turd and I'd say it to his face. Any "Director" that ignores it when bighorn sheep are dying deserves a size 11 to the ass with a road map and their last paycheck.

Absolutely worthless and didn't deserve to be called a director.

I’m just saying that I wouldn’t plan on it getting better with any of gianforte’s pundits.

Not the directors call. That falls on the head biologist. Montana has a strict policy of no feeding any species including sheep even if it might save the breaks herd.

I do not agree with this policy. The director brought my suggestion of feeding the sheep antibiotics to try to save them forward and was met with we do not feed wildlife at anytime for anything.

I also think one should put a little thought before disparaging.
Better to be thought a fool than open mouth and remove all doubt, advice given to me by my great grandfather.

Your great grandfather needed to pull his head out too?

Who mentioned anything about feeding?

How about getting gdamn test results back in 6 months? Also not the directors job to follow up on that? Or respond to emails?

Make no mistake he's a total joke.

Matters not what is killing the sheep, they will do nothing. As per bio’s directive. Who knows, maybe he’s correct as to best course.

I’ve been waiting on answers also, as the sheep my client killed was super thin and sick, and would not have live to see winter.

I feel sorry for you.

I wish "director" temple felt anything more than contempt for the states wildlife.

If you're going to feel sorry for anything feel sorry for the wildlife that he didn't give a chit about.

BTW he got fired.

Feeding sheep antibiotics doesn’t save them, it just makes people feel like they are doing something, when in fact most aren’t willing to do what it really takes to save them.

Feeding them antibiotics actually did work on one herd. Bighorn sheep were eating a domestic sheep feed and not succumbing to pneumonia. I’ll have to ask my biologist buddy which Mtn range.

Letting them die and starting over goes against everything as a cattleman. In the end it may be the right thing, but if it was my herd I’d try saving them.

Perhaps the difference is I have my own personal money and livelihood on the line.

And in the case of the bighorns maybe it is better to let them all die and start over. Time will tell.

The giant dead elephant in the room is that the department under temple, did nothing to find out WTF was going on with the sheep.

Pretty good idea to find out what's killing them before making a management decision.

Also pretty important to light a fire under the ass of a lab that's taking over 6 months to get any kind of results back.

There's one person responsible for making things happen, the director.

And he failed, miserably gave zero support to the wildlife.

Glad he got fired.
