Ford guys - 5.0 or 3.5 eco boost?

I can't say anything about towing but my 20 5.0 f150 got 21 mph when I went too Utah 3 weeks ago

I have a 2019 F150 5.0 and have nothing but good things to say. Better mileage than I expected 16-18 in town and 21-22 highway. Plenty of juice in everything I've done. The big reason I went for the 5.0 is that I realized if the engine on the 3.5 (or 2.7) ever need almost ANYTHING both turbos have to come off..... that is like 8-10 hours of labor from the kick off. Nope for me.

They're excellent for towing but not so good for snowy forest service roads. Ecoboost has the added complexity of a turbo, which is probably worth it. It's best to chain up early with a diesel.

Ended up with 22 F150 with the eco boost. 28,000 miles. Enjoying the heck out of it.

If the boost gauge isn't displayed on your instrument panel, I'd recommend turning it on. Handy to see when the turbos are spooling.

T case in my F250 grenaded...its been in the shop for over almost 2 weeks, it's still under warranty so the dealership can't fart without Ford HQ approval...
They gave my a '25 stx with the 2.7 ecoboost as loaner..756 miles...The only thing "truck" about is its looks...I guess it's better than driving a mini van.
