Congrats, that's awesome!I was finally able to connect on my first bull after four years of chasing them. I’ve had luck with cow tags, but never a bull. Happy to have a good bull and meat in the freezer.
Very nice!Last week I was able to harvest a beautiful Colorado 6x6 with my rifle. Thanks to Randy and all the posters on Hunt Talk I was able to enter my hunt with numerous tips to make it successful.
Dang good eating though them young ones!!!Here's my best elk. Shot in 2010 on public land in New Mexico.

That’s a cool picture right thereThis was my first elk, 1973, I was 12 and shot him with a .300 Savage, with peep sights. I thought all elk had big racks. Bitterroot Valley!
