It's difficult to try and film yourself on a backcountry trip, especially when you are trying to wrangle horses, and most importantly kill an elk, but I did my best to just that this past year.
Maybe this will help with the wintertime no-hunting-blues.....

Wunderbar, great bit of vid. Thanks for posting. My kind of hunting. It's not hard to learn to shoe, a file, nails n 🔨. Saves time on the hill.
 
Thanks for sharing your hunt. What a great solo experience - complete with horses, beautiful country, lots of elk, backcountry camp and a dandy bull, to boot! The memories will live on
and likely grow even more precious over time. Like you, I thank the Lord every day for the opportunity to hunt and enjoy his creation. We are blessed.
