Gastro Gnome - Eat Better Wherever

Doubt this will impact agencies...

The vast majority of private companies are reverting back to RTO. The covid scare is over... Just another flu shot or not, person's choice. Only fitting our government put people back to work vs lounging in pj's.
Your statement is completely false. Some companies are executing RTO, not the "vast majority". Some which have tried have failed miserably.

"The COVID-19 pandemic brought about numerous changes in workplace flexibility with many companies transitioning to fully remote work alternatives. Now, despite resistance from some employees, the majority of companies are pushing for return-to-office (RTO) mandates in 2025.

According to a new survey by Resume Builder, 9 in 10 companies will have returned to office by 2025. The survey results are based on data from 764 companies that transitioned to a fully remote work model during the pandemic."

The list is staggering. Is there some pork in there? Of course. If they have their way with the sledgehammer though, this can fundamentally change the USA, and not for the better IMO. As stated before, it probably won’t noticeably reduce the deficit, but it will help fund tax cuts.

Just a tiny fraction of programs I saw:

Wildlife Services, wolf/livestock predation, Pacific coast salmon recovery, basic hunter ed and safety, migratory birds, national wildlife refugees, hazardous fuel reduction, habitat restoration and far too many more to name.

I would personally rather fund these programs than help pad a billionaires pocket book.
As a future billionaire I am slightly offended. How about I buy a table at the annual hazardous fuel reduction gala.

I just don't see many employees jumping on this train. My partner is close to retirement and at first glance he was pretty excited about the news yesterday. After we have hashed out all the "what if" scenarios he has most likely changed his mind after today's shift. This option is much to vague and leaves way to many unanswered questions to anyone with half a brain.
