This bull elk was in a most interesting spot today. Some of it is due to the high snowfall, but sometimes I wonder why they go the places they go. Post your pics of animals in places you least expect them.

Some of you may know of this location.
Driving south on 59 into Douglas, WY as you're crossing the N. Platte and look to your left on the south bank there's a knob that sticks out. Behind that knob on three different trips into town we saw a forkhorn mulie resting there. He had perfect escape routes and cover. Never got a picture but thought it was neat and sticks in my mind.
