COLORADO GMU 48

Good afternoon hunt talkers, I am posting my no shame request for help in Colorado unit 48, the tag takes ~4 or 5 years of points, we have a toddler and a second on the way wife and I both work full time etc...so would love all the help I can get! Id like to add the caveat that this post will live on for years to come, hopefully I am successful, good folks new to the unit can find this post, reach out to me, and we can keep the HuntTalk good times rolling.

Now down to the nitty gritty, I've got waypoints picked out, spent a half dozen nights in the unit over the past 10 years thus have a decent lay of the land and am running up there next weekend with the kiddo to set out cameras and explore glassing knobs.

Boulderbulls- how’d you do? I own a property in twin Lakes and have been wanting to go up there for about three years… I did not get a tag but my 14-year-old son did. I have a bunch of waypoints in places to check out already, but I would really appreciate any tips. You would be willing to share… I actually was shot in early September so I’m not getting around super well so a lot of my spots that required heavy hiking will not be an option. My son has a buck tag and a core tag- 2nd rifle
