Nice deer, Still. Bet you have fond memories of that one. Ben, what are you interested in for fishing. Bass or trout? Bass would be in mid August, at a camp I can book for a weekend. We can drive to it. Camp is a little rustic, as in outhouse and no electricity. Just propane stove/fridge. Nice and quiet. Can always catch fish then. You can catch more in June, but generally smaller. If you want to try bass, let me know which month, Aug or June, so I can book camp. For trout, it is not a guarantee as you know how unpredictable it can be based on weather. But I do have a few spots depending on time of year. June fishing for bass and trout could be possible. You know another possibility would be mackeral/flounder fishing in August as well. I hope Still is going to vote on this as well, as you are invited also. Maybe we can get Trent in on this as well.
On another note Guys, do you know anything about the ' Blue Ribbon' trout lakes that there are draws on here in NB. I believe they are called Mountain or Peaked Lakes?? Do you know anyone that has gone there?? I know where they are, and they have kidda peked my interest. Talk later. DS

With two kids pulling on me to go indiferent directions I can not promise nothing but I am interested and if I have an opening I am in. Bass seam to be the more fun but trout are the eaters as far as I am concerned. But then again I am not much for eating fish at all.
As far as 'Blue Ribbon'......... I have no idea sorry.

Well to soon to tell for me , how taking bruce & ben to quebec like the time we went way up in gods land.I well have 4 to 5 weeks of time when August comes around. But I think a week or so will be spent on a trip to Oregon to see whats the deal befor moving there if we ever move.Still not sure on my moose license yet.But that fishing trip sounds like alot of fun. got to go for now later.

fishing sounds good to me,i have gone out for bass before with no luck,i have a tackle box full of goodies for bass, but never lucked out, mind you i have gone out only a few times, due to the fact you have to drive quite a ways from moncton to find bass.if you can put us on bass,im in,let me know, and hopefuly we can all get togheter,a guy i work with has gone out shed hunting, man did he ever find some great antlers, huge moose shovels,he found the pair of one,and found 3 other seperate 5 in all since friday,i have been out but no luck yet,i went out with the dog tonight,he was tickled pink

Good to hear from you guys so soon. Since you guys haven't fished bass before (or very little) then I'll try to book the camp in June. There is alot of action, especially top water which is alot more fun. Fish will tend to be smaller, but there is alot of them. Can't keep any, but we can get some trout for a feed anyway. I'll keep you advised on the weekend that I book.
Looks like you have a fair amount of snow in the woods, Ben. Wouldn't be much of a shed sticking out to see. Must be like looking for a needle in a hay stack. It would be a great idea to get out in the woods though. Think I'll try it on Saturday.
How you making out Trent? Anybody teach you to play crib yet?? Ha,Ha,Ha You know it would be good to get you up for a visit in June. Something to think on anyway.
Talk to you guys later.

Hello guys, I have booked camp for Friday/Sat night June 16/17. This is the best time for fishing, although Sunday is Fathers Day, we could be home by supper. I can change to the following weekend if better. Let me know whats best for you guys. We can't help but get fish either weekend, but the earlier weekend would be better to find a few trout. Sounds good, I think you'll like fishing bass. You don't need too heavy gear, trout line/rods is fine ( long casts). Don't get too much stuff ( lures) as I have a full tackle box and that time of year they take anything. Talk later, DS

That was last may fishing at the lake that is about a mile and half away. Here is a few pics of basspro shop to water your lips over and dream about til you get here dave. This guy is like boba zumi and gets payed to fish . like we all dream about, maybe someone here knows him (Tim Horton).

Ziplock Omlet

Have you ever heard of this? (This works great! Good for when all your
family is together and no one has to wait for their special omelet).

Have guests write their name on a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag with
permanent marker. Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not
more than 2) shake to combine them .

Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green
pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc. Each guest adds prepared
ingredients of choice to their bag and shake, Make sure to get the air out of
the bag and zip it up.

Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You
can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot
of boiling water. Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be
prepared for everyone to be amazed.

Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved
in the process and a great conversation piece.

I posted this in Ben thread and here as well , I did not come up with this I just copy it from another site and sharing it with you all.

I will check with the wife to see if Fathers day is good but i think the next weekend would be easier for me to get away. Also guys I have a good friend that I went on the moose hunt with last year (he had the tag and invited me) and I was thinking he likes to fish as well. Would anyone be offended if I invited him along for the fishing trip?
