Those of you that spend time at MonsterMuleys are probably familiar with Tony Bynum. He is a friend of mine and just let me know his website is up and running. He takes some great pics and thought I would pass along the link to those interested.

Miller:

Thanks for the link. Tony's stuff is great. He has a high level of passion for wild places and wild things.

Wish I had that talent (or commitment to work that hard).

Thanks Craig. Some great pictures by a very talented guy. I would assume his first name has a lot to do with it.

Those are some great pics

One looks like it's on the west side of Blacktail Butte in Jackson Hole by the reserve...

This guy sure knows how to take um... :)

Thanks Fellas!

Hey guys, thanks soo much for looking at my photos. I hope you like them. I'm working now on getting some of my other stuff up, like landscapes and horses, rodeos, powwows etc. . .

Thanks again for looking, I really appreciate the compliments! BTW, keep your eyes out for the new Eastmans Hunting Journal, here's the cover, it's a shot of a magnificent ram that I'll never forget and one that i'm sure will be every sheep hunters dream ram!

Tony:)

You wanna be a photograph ?
:D

Tony, if you don't mind me asking...how many days do you get to spend in the field on average per year? And what equipment (lenses, etc) do you typically take with you?

That sheep link doesn't seem to be working for me, btw.

days in the field and gear

I spend two to three days per week, on average in the field. sometimes i'm out for a week or more at a time, but my gear goes everywhere with me! last year I spent 25 days on elk, the same on deer, i'll spend bout 20 days on goats, and so on. . .

all nikon gear, i use the d2h, d200, and d300 with the 70-200 f2.8 vr afs, 200-400 f4 vr afs, and the 500 f4 vr afs. I also use the 120-300 2.8 sigma, and the 80-400 vr nikon, the 17-35 afs, 12-24, and 28-70. . . .

At certain times of the year, spring and fall, i'm out everyday. . . When i'm not shooting wildlife I'm shooting landscapes, rodeos, people, my daughter, etc. . .

 How much does that pack weigh? :D

For wildlife, which of those lenses do you find you use the most? I ran into a photographer during my AZ strip deer hunt last year and he said the 80-400 gets the most use...
