Turkey season is over and finally getting back in the studio. Looks funky now but I see a "Cool Cat"

I'm thinking once I work out the dark spots on this guy everything else will fall into place. He will need an approaching look that is semi stalk with a savvy swagard. I'm thinking of a dark foliage back ground as he crosses a large oak fallen tree.

Amazing how you maintain perspective scale with the markings, parts size, and texture detail Dave.

It's not as easy as it looks. Many artist will set a painting aside for a while to get away from it to get fresh eyes on it I do that but for 15 minutes to 30 minutes at a time while painting. Then go back into the areas that bother me and push and pull the marking to set where they are most effective then work in the over lapping tones. I did stretch his leg out a bit to give a more realistic look. I think it working by the comments I'm getting.

Thanks
