Biden BLM appointee

She testified, in exchange for immunity, that she retyped and sent an anonymous letter to the US Forest Service on behalf of John P. Blount, her former roommate and friend. The letter told the Forest Service that 500 pounds of spikes measuring 8-10 inches in length had been jammed into trees in the Idaho Forest.
I have read nothing to indicate she was bluffing .
Not to be contentious but was there any evidence confirming she wasn’t?

Making threats is a crime. Making threats and following through with them is a further progression into criminal behavior, IMO.

Well, obviously simply having knowledge of a crime or pending crime would make me want to ensure I had immunity if I felt there was any risk I might get drug into it.

I'm on the fence with her but pretending she didn't anything is garbage...

What does it matter? Its all effed
Because what actually happened matters to me. What happened to Kavenaugh was ridiculous. No need to see the other side do the same thing and cheer it on.

I am more interested in recent actions and cumulative accomplishments than an attitude or incidents from 20 years ago. Not that past actions aren’t relevant to give insight into how a person might lean or lead but people can and do change.

I’m not pretending anything. On one hand you have a retired investigator alleging she was vulgar, antagonistic, and uncooperative. On the other you have the case prosecutor saying she was never a target of the investigation.

I have a pretty good understanding of how immunity works.

She was part of earthfirst. Earth first did bad shit.

Certainly, and if you’ve read what I’ve written thus far, you’ll clearly see I have acknowledged this isn’t trivial an could certainly be a barrier to confirmation. There are differing levels of culpability, of which simply being a member is questionable.

No I wish she took responsibility for her dumb ass actions.
I once testified against a poacher and the person who was an accessory to his actions. The poacher initiated the actions and the accessory became a participant when he helped facilitate and didn’t refuse.
Both bore responsibility for their actions but in my judgment, the greater responsibility and greater penalty should have been applied to the person who planned and initiated the crime.
