Can’t take bone across state lines in many places anymore. You knife only guys don’t save shanks?
Big gubmit can pry the bone-in shanks out of my cold dead hands. Can’t take bone across state lines in many places anymore.
I've used a folding Gerber saw for years. Came with 2 different blades fine tooth that I use for bone and the other I use for branches. Has worked great for me, has it's own little carrying case, weighs next to nothing and is there when I need it.I’ve used one of these little 5oz $20 goobers from Gerber in the past.

Comes in handy for trimming the handle off your toothbrush in the backcountry when your pack weight gets overbearingly heavy. I don’t recommend using it to wipe with though.
Rib roll. I will never saw/hack them off again.haven't figured out an easy way to get the ribs with a knife yet.
What's a rib roll? Can you explain? Maybe I could leave the saw at home and instead take a full handled toothbrush and full roll of tp this yearRib roll. I will never saw/hack them off again.
