Bone saw

I bring one or both of these. Though I use the folding much more (wood, bone, moving wood around the fire, fire poker, stove poker when I choose hot tenting, etc).

The boreal I tend to use less and less in lieu of the bone/utility saw. At some point, like addressed above, id like to get one like the bone/utility saw that has a little heart to it...

My only dislike, unlike your deal, is it'd be nice to have a different tpi on both sides, course that'd effect the grip angle and such....

The Dandy Saw 12" mini-dandy is a fantastic saw. Stout as all get out and made in Wyoming. I've had them for years and they work like a champ.

So far, this one^ looks interesting.
It's got some substance, doesn't look like grandma's pruning saw.🤪

Every day reminders.
Now I see my trusty bone saw is considered to be vintage.🙄
Yep, archives indicate previous threads.
Anybody out there recommend a " m odern" version that is as sturdy as the Pac-Saw, but also has fine/ coarse cutting teeth. Flimsy plastic crap won't cut it.View attachment 343101
Every time I see this picture of your saw I imagine a civil war doc sawing a limb off on the battle field behind the firing line.

I’d go with the Dewalt reciprocating saw, but since I doubt that’s the answer you are looking for I’d find someone who can sharpen that blade and use it for eternity.

I really like it and have owned a couple of them for years and years. My son has one I bought him also. It is tough and is not a wimpy saw.
