best antelope gun?

Big Billy - that may be what he considered over-kill :)
25.06 its s a sexy little round. I would say that might be best, bought one for my son and it is a sweet shooting gun.

My old Winchester 70 Classic LH .270 wood/stainless topped by a matte silver 6x Sightron scope zeroed at 250 yards flinging a 130 grain Hornady Interbond.
Or.....
My new Ruger 25-06 Hawkeye LH wearing a Leupold 3x9 zeroed at 250 yards digesting a 100 grain Federal Trophy Copper.
Or maybe.....
My Ruger #1 International 7x57 sporting a Nikon 2-7 lobbing a 139 grain Hornady GMX Copper.
Or Maybe......
What everybody else said.
Or probably.....
Except for the guys who were wrong
And Oh Yeah.....
Don't forget about the LWCF and Federal to State Land transfer issues.........

I don't know either Slick. Wish I had one. I've always thought it would be an absolute joy to tote around in search of non-teethy critters. A 115gr BT can be pushed out of a 22" tube fast enough to thump 1000+ ft lbs out past 300 yds. Reputation for an over achiever. I'd think it would be a natural for a new hunter starter rifle.... if you can find one.

Might just be my next project.....
